Denise Dumont studied at the School of Visual Arts and is a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City. An oil painter, her influences are rooted in the art of the 19th and 20th centuries, from the artist colonies of Cos Cob and Long Island’s East End to the Nabis post-impressionists. She lives near the coast on the Delmarva Peninsula, drawing inspiration from her home and travels.
