Denise Dumont is a painter drawn to the landscapes and cityscapes of the Atlantic Coast. She studied at the School of Visual Arts and graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York. Her influences are rooted in the art of the 19th and 20th centuries, from the artist colonies of Cos Cob and Long Island’s East End to the French Nabis post-impressionists. She lives near the coast on the Delmarva Peninsula, drawing inspiration from her home and travels.
