July 2008 - Plein Air - Easton!
Come witness this dynamic painting competition and festival on Maryland's eastern shore, "Plein Air - Easton!" - July 21-27. Explore one of the most picturesque small art towns on the East Coast while interacting with some of the nation's top plein air painters. Visit the information center at Coffee East to find where each of the arists are painting during the week (corner of Goldborough & Washington Streets). September 2008 - Paint Chincoteague
On September 12 and 13, Chincoteague Cultural Alliance will sponsor the Fifth Annual Plein Air Art Event. More than 40 professional artists will paint outdoors on Chincoteague and Assateague Islands. The event culminates on Saturday evening, September 13 with a 6 - 10 pm reception, exhibit and sale of the artists' work at Comfort Suites on Main Street in Chincoteague. This Mid-Atlantic annual plein air painting event held in beautiful downtown Annapolis, Maryland is in it's seven the year and is one of my favorites! I'm excited to be one of the thirty regional artists chosen to paint the town in: "Paint Annapolis 2008" - September 17-21. Visit the tent at the foot of Main Street to chat with the artists and find where they are painting. The weekend will culminate on Sunday evening with a collector's preview and reception at Maryland Hall. November 2008 - Solo Show
